Carlson introduces “collection”
The new 2004-edition of “The Carlson Collection,” a private-label selection of some of the top vacation packages sold by agents, was officially launched by Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associates. The collection includes trips to Europe, the Caribbean and Hawaii. The Minneapolis, Minn.-based company is also offering a $50 traveler’s check for each booking. The collection was first introduced tow years ago in conjunction with Globus. Carlson has since added new partners. In addition to offering its customers ten of Globus’ best escorted vacations, the “collection” trips include offerings from Pleasant Holidays for 20 Hawaiian trips and 20 resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico offered by GOGO Worldwide Vacations. –Report by David Wilkening—
