Carnival Cruise Line revamping onboard shopping with new brand stores
Carnival Cruise Line is revamping onboard shopping options with revamped retail spaces and a slew of new brands.
The big changes will see new outlets including TAG watch shops coming to 24 ships, Effy on a dozen ships and Pandora on 10 ships.
Other major retailers include Victoria’s Secret, Swarovski and Los Cincos Soles.
"We’re committed to enhancing every aspect of our operations – which includes, of course, onboard shopping – and our expanded and enhanced retail offerings provide guests with an opportunity to enjoy some ‘retail therapy’" said Carnival’s vice president of retail, William Butler.
Butler said these brands were chosen based on months of customer preference research and feedback.
The new look stores have already opened on some vessels, including Carnival Sensation and Carnival Elation.
Next up for the retail refurb are Carnival Victory, Fascination, Legend, and Paradise which will completed next year.
The new Carnival Horizon will boast the largest retail zone in the fleet with two decks of shops and boutiques.
Across the fleet there will be regular retail focused activities including special promotions, giveaways and in-store parties.
