Carol Dray resigns from Thomas Cook

Sunday, 08 Jun, 2006 0

Thomas Cook e-commerce director Carol Dray has resigned from the company for personal reasons.

She will continue to work with the company until the end of the year “in order to take forward a number of projects”, according to chief executive Manny Fontenla-Novoa.

He said: “It is with regret that Carol has taken the decision to leave Thomas Cook. She has done so for personal reasons and we wish her all the best for the future.”

“Carol’s leaving has prompted us to look at the future leadership of Thomascook.com. Whilst we review our options the day-to-day running of the business will be in the hands of Rakshit Desai, Tony Milsom and Manuel Mascarenhas. Their focus will be to ensure that we deliver on our ambitious growth targets.

“We have a very strong team in our dot.com business and I have absolute confidence that they will continue to deliver strong results whilst we consider a new leadership structure for this important business.”
