Cause of cruise deaths remain a mystery
The unusual death of two cruisers around the same time found in Boston aboard the Norwegian Dawn remains a mystery though officials said no foul play was indicated in either case.
The two deaths were unrelated and “non-homicides,” said the Sussex County District Attorney’s office.
The deaths of a 67-year-old woman from Tiverton, RI, and a 23-year-old man from Littleton, NH., were not related to one another. “No further details will be released,” said the BostonHerald.com, quoting Sussex County officials.
Norwegian Cruise Line issued a statement confirming that a "female guest passed away after succumbing to a chronic illness."
The cruise line added that "out of respect for the guests' families, we cannot give out any additional details. Our thoughts and prayers go out to both families during this difficult time."
