Channel tunnel services return to normal
The Channel Tunnel has fully re-opened after electrical supply problems and Eurotunnel said schedules were running normally today, with up to two trains per hour.
There was major disruption on Monday when an overhead power cable was damaged and one tunnel remained closed until just after midday yesterday.
Eurostar said its passenger trains were also running normally today. Four trains were cancelled yesterday and other services were delayed by up to an hour.
