City Cruises York adds sailings
City Cruises York has added additional cruises to its schedule following a jump in demand.
Its Early Evening Cruise will now sail every night during September as well as the last two weeks of October to coincide with half-term dates around the country.
The change comes as the operator reported a 28% rise in passengers in January to July 2017 compared with the same period in 2016, and a 70% increase in sales for its Early Evening Cruise.
The sightseeing company was acquired by City Cruises in May.
Sales and marketing manager Mark Mattinson said: "The investment provided by our new owners has enabled us to develop new ideas and sightseeing tours and we’re looking forward to building on these initial successes in the coming months."
