Clarity appoints new marketing team
Travel management company Clarity has appointed a new, five-strong marketing team as part of its ambitious growth plans.
Alexandra Kington joins as head of marketing and communications. The 35-year-old brings 13 years’ experience in marketing, having previously held senior roles at PwC and pro-manchester.
She is joined by online marketing manager Phil Quinton, responsible for Clarity’s online strategy, including SEO, affiliate schemes and the company’s website.
Asma Younus becomes marketing executive, focusing on external client communications, and Heidi Elliot joins as marketing assistant. She joins from social media training scheme The Juice Academy and will have responsibility for executing the company’s social media strategy.~~
By the end of the year, a new product marketing manager will complete the team and will drive the growth and adoption of the online Go2 product suite.
Clarity doubled in size last November when it merged with Portman.
"Marketing is critical to the continued growth of Clarity~~and my objective is to establish a commercially-driven department," said Kington.
"An expert marketing team is essential at this stage in Clarity’s growth. A new brand and several new products mean that we need a new way to go to market."
Paul Casement, director of sales and account management at Clarity, added: "For the next stage of Clarity’s growth, we need to ensure we are highly visible and have real standout in the marketplace.
“Alexandra and her team have embraced the Clarity ethos of offering a brighter way of doing business, by coming in with fresh ideas, a different approach and brand new skill sets. They are already planning some very exciting activity, unlike anything we’ve ever done before."
