CLIA launches new events and promotions system
CLIA has launched a new system where online events and promotions can be shared in ’90 seconds or less’.
The cruise association is offering Widgety where agents and cruise lines can promote and share events and offers online.
Damian Gevertz, Widgety’s creator and founder, said: "We know both travel agents and cruise lines are frustrated by how much time and effort it takes to get their offers and promotions online.
"Widgety has been specifically developed to make it easy for anyone to create an offer, event, or promotion, and share it online. Whether you’re a home worker, or a multiple, our widgets work on every device, everywhere."
Andy Harmer, director of CLIA UK & Ireland, said: "Their software allows us to easily create and share company information and contact details for all of our members, both cruise lines and executive partners, as well pulling in their social media feeds, news and now excitingly their latest promotions and events."
Travel agents can access the free service online at widgety.co.uk.
Individual widgets are tailored to only include offers from selected cruise lines and are customised to reflect branding.
It can support travel agents with intranet pages by cruise brand including links to booking systems and post booking customer service pages to help passengers get to UK ports, details of parking, nearby restaurants and places to stay.
