Club Med announces Dominican Republic re-furb
Club Med has announced plans to renovate its Dominican Republic resort of Punta Cana.
The re-furb will be done in two phases by the end of 2015 and 2016, and will include a new Zen Zone for couples, a new Zen Oasis area, onsite golf facilities, and new family rooms.
The Zen Zone will be an exclusive area just for guest couples offering new deluxe rooms with individual gardens or balconies, a rainfall shower, hammock and a luxurious daybed.
The Zen Oasis will be home to an adult only zen pool.
The upgrade also includes a Cirque du Soleil partnership in summer 2015, offering recreational circus acrobatics and artistic activities to Club Med visitors.
