Club Med launches $1 a day kid’s deal
Club Med is encouraging businesses to work and play the family way this year, re-launching its famous ‘Kid’s stay, play and eat for a $1 a day’ deal exclusively for the special groups and conference market during February, March and April 2006.
Club Med Product Manager, Meetings & Incentives, Lisa Bacon says the offer’s timely launch reflects an increasing trend in the workplace toward achieving a better work/life balance.
“Club Med’s $1 a day kids offer was an incredibly successful consumer campaign for Lindeman Island in 2005,” she says. “Now, for the first time, we’re excited to offer a special, tailored version for the MICE market – a significant step to help revolutionise the conference market by making it feasible to bring along kids.”
Lisa says Club Med’s new ‘meet then treat’ the kids campaign perfectly taps into a broader family-conscience emerging across a broad range of industries in recent years.
“At a time when many families see both parents working, it’s logical to see more and more companies now choosing to adopt and advocate a family-friendly workplace – a policy steadily extending to work events and conferences also,” she says
“Club Med Lindeman is the ultimate playground for partners and children to play while delegates get down to business. As Australia’s leading family destination, the village easily lends itself to the family-conferencing ideology with unrivalled range of activities for families and colleagues plus comprehensive kid’s club facilities for children of all ages.”
Club Med’s $1 a day Kids offer is available for sale for a limited time until 10 February. The offer is exclusive to special groups traveling or holding an event between 1 February and 30 April 2006.
The All-Inclusive Package Includes return flights with Jetstar, transfers from Hamilton Island, conference facilities and AV equipment, superior room accommodation, three sumptuous meals a day, plus unlimited wine and beer with lunch and dinner.
The offer also features tea and coffee breaks and one working lunch, a one-hour cocktail party, exclusive use of the village’s Nicolson’s Restaurant to host a Gala Dinner event. Sporting activities and tuition, fabulous nightly entertainment and Kids Club Facilities are also part of the conference package.
Three-night package prices* start from $1,260 for adults, $898 for children aged 12 to 17 years, $420 for children aged 4-11, $355 for young ones aged two to three and just $3 for infants aged under twelve months (ex Brisbane – Sydney and Melbourne prices also available).
