Club Med unveils plans for ski resort in Canada
All-inclusive resort group Club Med has announced plans for its first ski resort in North America.
The 300-room resort in in Le Massif de Charlevoix ski area of Quebec also marks the first Club Med resort for Canada.
It is slated to open in 2020.
The $93million project will include a 4-Trident Club and Deluxe-level rooms along with 5-Trident luxury amenities and meeting space.
The resort is one hour’s drive from Quebec City and will offer year-round resort programming.
"Club Med is the world leader in all-inclusive mountain hotels and resorts. With 24 sites established in France, Italy, Switzerland, Japan and China, Club Med is excited to add Canada to our list. Each season will reveal the wonders of this natural site, offering our international clientele a place to discover year-round beauty," said Xavier Mufraggi, president and CEO of Club Med North America.
Club Med resorts are found in 26 countries across five continents including Florida, Mexico and the Caribbean.
