Cruise & Maritime Voyages has increased the number of key sales people and created new positions, which it said would enable it to support the trade following the arrival of its fourth ship.

Nicola Pearce has joined from Virgin Holidays in the new position of business development manager for south west England and Wales.

The region is growing in importance for CMV, following an increase in cruise departures from Bristol – Avonmouth.

Wayne Beard who looks after northern England and Scotland has been promoted to senior business development manager for the region.

Nicky Graham has become business development manager for the Midlands and Humberside and Jodie Stuart takes up the position of business development manager, south east England.

Head of trade sales Lisa Jacobs said: "We are determined to provide a consistent and sustained level of trade back up. CMV has made a number of new staff appointments and put in a strong structure of skill and experience to help agents and the trade develop their sales with us."
