CNG adds 1500 more hotels
CNG Travel has signed distribution agreements with three major hotel chains and a hotel reservations service, adding around 1,500 more hotels to its inventory.
The agreements with Golden Tulip Hospitality Group, Worldhotels (formerly SRS WorldHotels), Great Hotels of the World and Pegasus Solutions will see hotel inventory from the four companies added to CNG’s private rate hotel programme, now boasting access to over 25,000 properties.
The largest of the deals is with Golden Tulip to access it’s 251 properties and the 115 hotels of its alliance partner, TOP International Hotels, while the deal with Worldhotels adds 200 of its 500 hotels, and the Great Hotels of the World deal adds another 16.
The deals were announced today alongside a distribution deal with Pegasus Solutions for access to 1,000 of the 4,000 hotels that are a member of its Utell by Pegasus hotel reservations service.
The announcements follow similar deals with signed with various hotel suppliers in recent weeks including Sol Melia Resorts and Hotels, Swiss Quality Hotels, Le Meridien, Rezidor SAS Hospitality and K&K Hotels.
CNG allows these hotels to access their own inventory in real-time, giving the hoteliers direct control over rates and availability. The system is then accessed by travel agents who search and book content and receive commissions.
CNG founder and chief executive Finbar Power said: “More hotel brands are joining our distribution programme because they have faith in the integrity and robustness of our private rate business model.”
