CNG in hotel deal with business agents

Monday, 14 Jul, 2005 0

Technology firm CNG is to supply 25,000 private rate hotels to a dynamic packaging system being developed for business travel agents.

P&P Associates, which own Chelsea Village Travel, Telford Travel, 2000 Travel Management and Pro Travel, is adopting a DP system based on the TravelStoreMaker internet booking engine and will connect to CNG’s online inventory via an XML link.

It will enable its agents to book accommodation in real time and receive higher-than-average commission from CNG.

CNG senior vice president Tim Wright said: “This dynamic packaging deal shows how agencies can adopt CNG’s service through our web-based service that integrates efficiently with other technology providers and partners.”

P&P chief executive Phil Cook said the deal will “extend hotel choice and pricing for customers right across the P&P estate.”
