Coming attraction: world’s largest cruise night
The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) is among hosts for the World’s Largest Cruise Night on 19 October.
The evening will be the highlight of a month-long industry awareness campaign aimed to promote cruising.
“CLIA-member travel agencies, in cooperation with CLIA’s member cruise lines, are joining together to host ‘cruise night’ events of all shapes and sizes in cities across North America,” said Terry Dale, CLIA president and CEO.
More than 200,000 consumers all over North America are being invited to cruise nights and events. These range from cocktail receptions to breakfast sessions and even include full-scale cruise expos.
Consumers at the 24-hour event can learn about the diversity of cruise vacations available on the more than 150 ships of CLIA’s 19-member cruise lines.
Generally, cruise line representative will be on hand to provide cruise information.
