Conrad beach resort earmarked for Ft Lauderdale
Hilton Worldwide have sealed a deal with CFLB Partnership LLC to open and operate a 290-room Conrad Hotels & Resorts branded residence in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Currently undergoing a $34 million renovation program, the 24-story oceanfront resort is slated to open in 2015.
Located at Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd, the property’s amenities will include a fitness center and spa, gourmet oceanfront dining, beach concierge, swimming pool, and exclusive access to a personal concierge.
Residence units will be furnished with high-end kitchens equipment, marble foyers and balconies with sea views and priced from $450,000 for a studio up to multi-million dollar penthouses.
Designed by architect Michael Graves, further enhancement are being made including a new portico style entrance and third-story glass-encased meeting area connecting the resort property’s two towers.
The site was originally earmarked as a Trump condo project which was canceled in 2009 after a succession of investor lawsuits.
"The Conrad brand is synonymous with modern global luxury and brings an exciting new level of exclusive, resort-style living to Fort Lauderdale Beach," said Peggy Olin Fucci, CEO of One World Properties, which is responsible for the sale and marketing of the property.
