Convention Industry Council launches Ebola info webpage
The Convention Industry Council has published a new webpage featuring the latest information about Ebola, updated guidelines, and resources for the meetings industry.
This includes newly released Ebola Virus Risk Management protocols for meetings and events.
CIC has collaborated with the US Travel Association to highlight best practices at meetings and events to combat the potential spread of the virus.
"Despite what you might hear in the press, our observation is that federal and local government agencies are working together effectively along with the private sector to manage and stop the spread of the Ebola virus in the US," said CIC CEO Karen Kotowski.
"As of now, we have been assured that travel and the meetings industry remain unaffected."
