Cosmos Tours launches UK short breaks
Cosmos Tours has launched a range of luxury UK short breaks for 2017 to tap into a rise in demand for domestic travel.
It is the first time the touring specialist has offered holidays in the UK.
Its new breaks are timed to coincide with events and special experiences in the UK during 2017 and feature unique or VIP ‘behind the scenes’ experiences and guided sightseeing.
Featured hotels are centrally located with easy access to the city and are mostly four-star.
Although many elements are included in the price, customers can make their own travel arrangements to join the breaks.
A four-day Edinburgh Festival & Royal Military Tattoo short break, from £739 per person, highlights these famous events and come with festival entry and premier seating at the Royal Military Tattoo.
Based at the four-star rated Hotel Leonardo, highlights include a guided tour of the city and visits to Edinburgh Castle and the Scotch Malt Whisky Society with tasting session.
A four-day RHS Chelsea Flower Show short break, from £719 per person, includes entrance to the Chelsea Flower Show and an exclusive ‘behind the scenes’ tour of Kew Gardens with lunch.
Included sightseeing also features a London Eye flight with champagne, a guided tour of the National Gallery and a scenic coach tour of London.
Rob Goodwin, Cosmos Tours head of product, said: "As we continue to broaden our product range with more experiential holidays and authentic experiences, we can now offer our customers the opportunity of combining their special interest of gardening, theatre, military band music or heritage and culture with these spectacular special events."
In the last six months, Cosmos has broadened its product mix to include different experiences such as religious tours in France and foodie-themed holidays in Italy.
