Country Comfort unveils New Zealand network
Iconic Australian hotel brand Country Comfort officially arrived in New Zealand this month, launching a network of 14 properties stretching from Auckland to Invercargill.
Travellers will now find Country Comfort hotels in all of New Zealand’s key metropolitan centers, including Christchurch, Dunedin and Wellington.
The network also encompasses some of the country’s most popular tourism centers, such as:
** Rotorua – famous for its thermal geysers, mud-pools and hot springs, and a centre for Maori culture;
** Napier – leveled by an earthquake in the 1930s and rebuilt as one of the world’s great Art Deco cities; and
** Nelson – New Zealand’s ecotourism capital and gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park.
From August 15, Country Comfort’s New Zealand properties will take part in Constellation’s award-winning customer loyalty program, The Escape Club, which rewards frequent guests with free nights, dining discounts and Escape Dollars that can be spent like cash throughout the group.
New Zealand’s Country’s Comfort hotels also receive the full support of Constellation’s sophisticated marketing operation, with best available rates for each property now available through www.constellationhotels.com and Constellation’s central reservations call centre, which operates seven days a week.
The introduction of the Country Comfort brand in New Zealand follows the signing of a partnership agreement in February between Constellation and the New Zealand Motel Federation.
“Country Comfort’s New Zealand hotels are now part of one of Australasia’s fastes growing tourism companies,” said, Constellation Group General Manager Jonathan Wooller.
