Crystal completes financing for two new ships
Luxury line Crystal has secured its financing facility for its first two new cruise ships.
The finalisation of a SACE-backed ECA is a significant milestone as it embarks on a fleet expansion program.
“Securing this financing is a decisive step forward in Crystal’s expansion and demonstrates the strong market confidence in our strategy,” said Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio, Executive Chairman of parent A&K Travel Group.
The two new ships will each have a gross tonnage of 61,800 tons and accommodate about 650 passengers,
They will house all-suite accommodations with private verandas, including dedicated single occupancy categories designed for solo travellers.
The first ship is expected to be delivered in May 2028.
