Crystal extends its Ski Plus programme for next season

Monday, 14 Jul, 2010 0

Crystal has extended its Ski Plus programme to 100 properties in popular resorts for next season with all-inclusive packages from £425 for seven nights.

The packages, which offer a limited number of holidays that include flights, accommodation, transfer, ski hire and lift pass, will also be available in Canada.

Meanwhile, Crystal will be selling its ‘Fresh Tracks’ programme, which offers people the chance to ski on pistes before lifts open to the public, in 13 resorts.

Managing director Mathew Prior said he was positive about next year as the pound was strengthening against the euro and the economic outlook was less uncertain.

However, he said Christmas Day falling on a Saturday, when most people would normally travel, would hit bookings and he described as ‘unhelpful’ the fact that Easter would be late, on April 24.

“With the extended season we have a big job to convince people that there are decent snow conditions in April,” he said.
