CTO appoints acting director general
The Cyprus Tourism Organisation has appointed Lefkos Phylactides as acting director general.
He replaces Phoebe Katsouris who stood down.
Phylactides has worked for the CTO for 30 years, most recently as director of tourist services.
He is also currently chairman of the Independent Committee of the Cyprus Certification Company, a member of the Air Transport Licensing Authority of the Ministry of Communications and Works, and a member of the CTO’s Hotels Committee.
After a formal procedure is completed, he will become permanent director general.
