CWT appoints executive vice president of traveler services

Carlson Wagonlit Travel has announced the appointment of veteran Matt Beatty as executive vice president of traveler services.
 
Beatty moves to the CWT executive team after serving as president, US military & government markets since 2011.
 
He will remain in Minneapolis and reports directly to Douglas Anderson, CWT president and CEO.
 
"Traveler Services’ role is to make sure travelers have access to the latest technology, provide personalized service and ensure that our service is highly reliable and consistent around the world. Matt has done a fantastic job running our US Military and Government operations and will bring his strong track record of success to his new role," Anderson said.
 
Beatty, who has spent nearly 25 years at CWT, assumes the new executive role on April 1.
 
Beatty is being replaced as president, US military & government markets by Nick Vournakis.
 
Vournakis is currently senior vice president of global marketing and led CWT’s product innovation.
 
Previously he served as head of Solutions Group and CWT Canada.
