Cypress Lakes Resort expands conference facilities

Monday, 29 Sep, 2006 0

Set among the Hunter Valley vineyards, Cypress Lakes Resort offers state-of-the-art conference and event facilities along with all the benefits of a luxury resort and championship golf course.

On November 1, the resort will open a new purpose-built meeting space of 450 square metres, named The Event Centre, capable of seating up to 396 guests for a sit down dinner and up to 624 delegates, theatre style.

The Event Centre will feature air-conditioning, solid flooring, state of the art technical facilities including wireless broadband and a superb outdoor terrace with views over the golf course and vineyards.

Together with the existing Convention Centre, The Event Centre now gives the resort a total capacity of over 1000 guests theatre-style, positioning Cypress Lakes Resort as the premier quality conference venue in the Hunter region. Additionally, the resort excels in smaller functions with a number of other conference facilities available.

The Convention Centre has the capability to divide into four smaller rooms of equal size, each with a maximum capacity of 100 delegates, theatre-style. The resort has also recently installed a new 225 square metre marquee beside the lagoon pool, ideal for product launches, cocktails and social events.

In addition to the many facilities offered by Cypress Lakes Resort, conference organisers can also take advantage of the various team-building options delivered on-site by The Golden Door, such as corporate health seminars, group activity sessions and stress management.

For reservations or further information on the conference facilities contact Cypress Lakes Resort on (02) 4993 1555 or visit the website www.cypresslakes.com.au.
