UK Trade and Investment in partnership with the organising partner, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce will lead a Tourism Development Mission to the Czech Republic in November 2004. The Czech Republic wishes to develop their tourism sector in their Regions and EU Structural Funds will be prioritized into this sector via national or local projects. The topics to be presented have been identified by our Embassy in Prague and include: · Tourism infrastructure and tourism clusters, · Transit tourism, · Destination Welcome/Customer Care, · The needs of the international Tourist (needs of British tourist), · How to access EU Fundings, · Cultural/Historic Tourism and Visitor Centres, · Rural Tourism/Activity Tourism, · Destination Marketing/use of Internet and Needs of the foreign tourist Interested companies should contact Wavell Magor, MBE, International Relations, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce by the 15th August 2004 – [email protected] or tel 0131 334 0520
