Danny Crowe returns to travel industry
JG Travel Group (JGTG) has appointed former Thomas Cook head of marketing Danny Crowe as sales and marketing director.
He is responsible for marketing across all four brands in the group: Just Go Holidays, Omega Breaks, Cruise Connections and Albion.
Crowe, who has worked in other sectors including retail and financial services, said: "It’s great to be back in the travel industry again and I feel very excited about the potential that exists within JGTG.
"The company is passionate about being customer-centric and we have some fantastic growth plans.
"To be able to operate across UK tours and events, European breaks, cruising and US inbound is a marketers dream."
As well as direct to consumer, JGTG is keen to develop its already successful partnership approach and will be further engaging with travel agents, cruise lines, travel and other related audience brands.
Luis Arteaga, chairman and CEO at JGTG added, "We have built a great range of products to service the older traveling audience both in the UK and Europe, and we are now in a position to up-weight our marketing activity.
"Danny’s appointment gives us a broader multi-channel approach that is driven out of a customer focus."
