Date for BTA 2022 gala night announced
The winners of the 2022 British Travel Awards will be announced at a Gala event, on Wednesday 29 November 2022.
Online booking for the evening is now open.
BTA director of events and partnerships Lorraine Barnes Burton said: “After a two -year absence we are back at London’s Battersea Evolution. The event will be bigger and better than ever to celebrate our great leisure travel industry.”
“We’ll be accrediting those companies, who have been recognised by the buying public, as the best at their business.”
Registrations to be considered for a 2022 Award close on 22 May.
Consumer voting will begin on 4 July.”
Nominations have been flooding in and for some awards the competition will be very intense.
Categories that need more entries include luxury, boutique and no fly cruise and specialist categories, such as LGBT+, Assisted / Accessible and Culture / Arts / History.
Before voting commences registered companies will be sent a ‘click to vote’ logo, with link to their unique direct voting app to encourage votes.
Consumer voting will again be promoted via the BTA database and in conjunction with consumer media partner Reach PLC, across their national, regional and digital platforms.
