David Beirman selected as keynote speaker for top international crisis conference in Canada
The Travel Industry Association of Canada and the University of Guelph Toronto, organisers of the Crisis Management in Hospitality and Tourism Conference, which will be held in Toronto Canada on 1-2 October 2007 have selected David Beirman as their keynote speaker.
David told The Mole today, “More important than any personal cudos is the fact that this conference represents the sort of co-operation that I and some others have long advocated in Australia between tourism academics and professionals.”
“This is an object lesson to the Australian industry leadership on how tourism academics and professionals can and should work together in dealing with major issues which affect the industry.”
With the speakers representing a mixture of tourism and hospitality industry professionals and academics, the conference is advertised and fully outlined on the Tourism Industry Association of Canada’s web site: www.tiac-aitc.ca
Just click on events and the conference is clearly indicated.
