Delta Air Lines has inked yet another baseball sponsorship agreement to become the Official Airline and Official Private Jet Carrier for the Washington Nationals.

Under the terms of the five-year deal Delta will fly the team to and from every away game and also brings the Delta Sky360 Club branded hospitality experience to Nationals Park.

There will also be a section of branded seating behind home plate and permanent signage on the outfield wall.

"As a proud supporter of America’s pastime, Delta is excited to welcome the Washington Nationals to the roster of MLB teams we sponsor across the country. We can’t wait to connect with the passionate fans at Nationals Park, and we share in their enthusiasm for a great season ahead," said Tim Mapes, Delta’s senior vice president of marketing.

Delta and the Washington Nationals will officially unveil the partnership during the season’s upcoming opening week.

Delta now has agreements with nearly half of the 30 MLB teams, including being the official airline of the Atlanta Braves, Detroit Tigers and Minnesota Twins.

It recently renewed long-term partnerships with the New York Mets and the New York Yankees.
