Destination by Hyatt Brand debuts in the UK
Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the debut of the Destination by Hyatt brand in the UK.
Historic estate SCHLOSS Roxburghe has recently gone through an extensive transformation.
Ir added a spa, 58 new rooms and suites in the newly constructed extension The Estate House.
SCHLOSS Roxburghe r joins 7Pines Resort Ibiza and 7Pines Resort Sardinia in the Destination by Hyatt brand portfolio.
“SCHLOSS Roxburghe is a property of distinction that is now fully transformed into a historic retreat,” said Jörg Lindner, founder of 12.18. Group.
“We are proud to realise this exciting project with Hyatt.”
It is the 14th Hyatt property in the UK.
It is located close to the scenic market town of Kelso, and an hour from Edinburgh and Newcastle.
Formerly owned by the Duke of Roxburghe, the countryside retreat offers 78 rooms and suites as well as 12 two-bedroom cottages.
Twenty guestrooms and suites are housed in the historic manor house and 58 guestrooms within The Estate House.
The property is set to introduce 50 additional cottages, starting in 2023.
It boasts its own Country Sports Centre, ideal for salmon fishing, archery and clay pigeon shooting.
The hotel also offers an 18-hole championship golf course.
There are two on-site dining venues, a tearoom and various lounges
