Destination Canada,Air Canada forge global marketing partnership

Destination Canada and Air Canada have announced a three-year global partnership to promote Canada to the world.
 
Ahead of a year of events as Canada’s celebrates its 150th birthday, the two organizations will coordinate resources on strategic marketing and special events for the travel trade, consumer markets and media.   
 
"This is the first collaboration of this scope and it is very exciting to see our national tourism marketing agency join forces with an international carrier such as Air Canada to help bring more visitors to experience what our nation has to offer," said minister of small business and tourism, Bardish Chagger.
 
Destination Canada CEO David Goldstein said: "Right before our country’s birthday in 2017, and following international recognition of Canada as a premier tourism destination by Lonely Planet and National Geographic, this partnership will enable us to highlight that the world needs more Canada."
