Dolphin adds more ground content links
Dolphin Dynamics has introduced direct booking connectivity with accommodation suppliers AlliedTPro and Jonview plus Holiday Autos.
Hotelconnect is also to be added in support of customers expanding into new markets and the introduction a new tour operating solution by the technology supplier.
The new XML links enable Dolphin users to search and book accommodation and car rental on a standalone basis or combined with air tickets and other ground services.
The move is part of a plan to provide connectivity via Dolphin to at least ten new third-party travel suppliers by the end of the year.
The technology company already provides direct access to suppliers including GTA, Holiday Brokers, Youtravel.com, Holiday Taxis and Avis, along with connectivity to Amadeus, Galileo and Sabre and more than 80 low-cost carriers.
The planned new supplier connections will include a mix of accommodation and other ancillary suppliers.
Company president Roberto Da Re said: “We are investing in more distribution partnerships because our travel agent and tour operator customers require both broad choice and relevant content.
“By enabling Dolphin users to search across a wider portfolio of selected third-party suppliers, alongside their directly contracted stock, we can help our customers provide better service and become more competitive.â€
