Don your masks for a night of Venetian glamour
A Venetian theme has been chosen for this year’s British Travel Awards dinner, being held slightly later in the year on November 26.
The event at Battersea Evolution, London, will feature live music from English soprano Laura Wright, a singer who performs classical and operatic music, popular songs, musical theatre and even folk songs.
The LBE orchestra will play during dinner and afterwards the Candy Amp band will take the best chart hits from the last 20 years, followed by an edgy disco for dancing into the early hours.
Revellers at the black tie dinner will be encouraged to dress with the ‘glamour and sophistication’ of Venice, with optional Venetian masks.
"Nearly 70% of tables are already booked so best get a move on if you want to come and haven’t got round to it yet," said British Travel Awards’ CEO Lorraine Barnes Burton.
"Booking online you can see which tables are still available and you can check out who is sitting on the neighbouring tables.
"We’re holding the Awards later this year – WTM will be out of the way and with Christmas around the corner the night will herald the start of the festive season."
Limited tables and individual places at The British Travel Awards are available to reserve online here.
