Drive-through Covid test site opens at Heathrow
Heathrow airport has opened a Covid-19 testing facility, with 24 lanes that will operate 365 days a year.
It claims the drive-through centre is the largest private Covid-19 screen facility in the UK.
When fully operational the site will house two on-site labs capable of processing over 5,000 tests daily. It says results will be received the next day.
Tests cost £80 for passengers, £60 for Heathrow staff, and £99 for the general public.
The site is located at the airport’s N4 car park off Bath Road.
