Dubai move to improve UK trade relations
Dubai is aiming to strengthen its relationship with the UK travel trade via the appointment of a new trade sales manager.
Andrew Sharpe has taken on the new role within the UK and Ireland office of Dubai Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM)
Sharpe previously worked with Virgin Holidays, Maritim Hotels and Sandals.
His new role will focus entirely on the travel trade, specifically improving relationships and developing initiatives to improve Dubai sales, said the DTCM.
He will report to DTCM’s director UK and Ireland, Ian Scott, and will be supported by marketing executive Catherine Lamri.
