No damage or casualties are reported after an earthquake struck the Mediterranean just south of the Greek Island of Crete.
The Athens Geodynamics Institute said the earthquake occurred at 12:39 a.m. local time on Sunday, some 31 miles off the south coast of Crete at a depth of 16 mile.
A magnitude-5.9 quake had also struck Saturday evening, a little further south and closer to the surface.
