Eastern rejigs Yorkshire-Southampton frequency
Eastern Airways is dropping a mid-morning flight between Leeds/Bradford and Southampton and replacing it with an afternoon departure.
The independent regional airline will start the 14.20 Leeds/Bradford service from February 16, arriving in Southampton at 15.30.
The new weekday frequency will be offered along with existing 06.50 and 17.40 departures to Southampton and replaces a 10.15 service.
The 70 minute flights to Leeds/Bradford will take off from Southampton at 08.35, 16.00 and 19.15.
Chief operating officer Chris Holliday said: “Adjusting the timing gives our passengers greater flexibility in the afternoon.
"Customer feedback is very important to us and as a result we are making this adjustment to our schedules to meet the needs of our business travellers."
