Ebookers shares slide back

There were few moves of any significance among travel and tourism shares yesterday, as London’s equity markets managed to register small gains.

 

The FTSE 100 index added 13.5 points to close at 4558.5, while the FTSE 250 moved ahead to 6272.8, up 26.1 points.

 

The biggest move of the day was at ebookers.com, which lost 8.5p to close at 239.5p after several positive sessions brought on by its announcement that is in potential merger talks with several other companies.
