Edmonton gains more winter London flights

Wednesday, 10 Sep, 2007 0

Air Canada is to serve Edmonton from Heathrow with a daily year-round service.

Frequency is up from last winter’s three times weekly service to the Canadian city.

The carrier increased frequency to seven flights a week for the summer and is to maintain the schedule during the winter.

Air Canada is the first carrier to introduce this daily year-round non-stop service between the two destinations.

The increased frequency allows more options for travellers to visit Jasper for skiing in the Canadian Rockies by taking the VIA Rail Snow Train between Edmonton and Jasper National Park which runs three times a week.
