Enable Holidays joins AITO
Birmingham-based Enable Holidays has joined the Association of Independent Tour Operators.
Formed in 2004, it was the first UK tour operator to specialise in holidays for people with mobility impairments, slow walkers and people looking for an easier way to get around on their holiday.
It offers over 500 accessible hotels, villas and apartments, each one fully checked out in person by a qualified auditor.
Enable also works closely with airlines and informs them of individual requirements and preferences prior to departure, as well as offering in-resort facilities including special excursions and a hire service for wheelchairs.
Managing director Lynne Kirby said: "AITO’s values perfectly match our own – expert, independent and thoroughly professional."
