Enterprise Rent-A-Car expanding to Latin America
Enterprise Holdings has expanding its footprint to Latin America, after signing an agreement with Grupo ANC to act as an Enterprise Rent-A-Car franchise partner in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Nicaragua.
In Costa Rica, Enterprise offices are located at Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia and Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Enterprise has also opened a downtown office in San Jose.
In Guatemala and Nicaragua, Enterprise Rent-A-Car bookings will be handled by Drive Alliance partner National Car Rental from airport locations at Guatemala City and Managua.
“The launch of Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Latin America means international travelers and local residents can experience the brand’s renowned customer service and great rates,” said Peter A. Smith, vice president of global franchising at Enterprise.
“Costa Rica, in particular, is an extremely popular tourism destination for our customers, making it a great starting point for extending the Enterprise brand into Latin America,” Smith added.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car recently made its brand debut in the Caribbean last year and has continued aggressive expansion in Europe during the past 12 months.
