The US skiing season now underway may set more records. Last year, an all-time high number of almost 59 million skiers was recorded.

“And this season, travelers will continue to find even more reasons to play in the powder as ski destinations continue to make trips more enticing to winter travelers,” said Orbitz.

The company released its top ski destinations, with Breckenridge, Colorado, number one, followed by:

Mammoth Lakes, CA; Lake Tahoe, CA: Park City, UT; Steamboat Springs, CO; Winter Park, CO; Jackson Hole, WY; Aspen, CO; Vail, CO; and Snowmass, CO.
