Etihad Airways celebrates new Australian flights with special fares
To celebrate its announcement of the first direct flights between Australia and Abu Dhabi, Etihad Airways today provided details of special fares that will apply for a limited time only from Sydney to a range of destinations around the world.
Return air fares for one-stop services between Sydney and a number of European destinations including London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Geneva, Munich and Brussels start from $1280 plus taxes of up to $581. Fares to destinations in the Middle East such as Beirut, Amman and Damascus start from $1200 return plus taxes of up to $493 and to New York and Toronto from $1710 return plus taxes of up to $515. Direct flights to Abu Dhabi start from $1250 return, plus taxes of $455.
All of these fares are available now until the end of February 2007, subject to availability, for travel when Etihad starts direct flights from Australia on 27 March 2007 until 15 June 2007, with a maximum stay of three months. Fares apply for travel in Coral (economy class).
Special fares are also available for travel in Etihad’s Pearl (business) class with return fares to European destinations from $4395 plus taxes of up to $684 and in Diamond (first class) from $5420 plus taxes of up to $684.
