Etihad bats for Chennai Super Kings as official sponsor
Gulf carrier Etihad Airways is partnering with the Chennai Super Kings as their official sponsor.
The CSK’s new kit was unveiled displaying the airline’s logo in front of 2,000 fans during an event in Chennai.
As part of the partnership, Etihad offer fans various branded activities and promotions throughout the upcoming cricket season.
Etihad is showcased on the back of the Chennai super Kings’ jersey, and will offer exclusive deals to Chennai Super Kings’ fans.
Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad Airways, said: “Today marks the start of an extraordinary journey and goes beyond sponsorship.”
“This strategic collaboration solidifies Etihad’s commitment to the Indian market and to meaningful connections with the communities of India.”
Etihad operates 165 weekly flights to 10 Indian cities, connecting Indian passengers to more than 70 destinations worldwide.
Recently, the airline launched two new routes to Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram, and also doubled Mumbai and Delhi frequencies to four flights per day.
The Etihad – Chennai Super Kings partnership follows on the heels of Etihad’s announcement of Bollywood superstar Katrina Kaif as its brand ambassador.
