EU green lights in-flight phone calls
Passengers on flights will soon be able to freely use mobile phones, including in-flight phone calls.
It means there will be no need to switch to flight mode
The European Commission recently ruled airlines can offer 5G flights with fast streaming quality mobile data.
The changes will mean travellers can make in-flight phone calls, text and stream content.
However, allowing voice calls is a divisive issue.
A sizeable proportion of the flying public strongly oppose it.
