Eurotunnel service update

Monday, 20 Jan, 2015 0

Passengers travelling on trains to continental Europe will continue to face delays of up to an hour today following a lorry fire in the Channel tunnel on Saturday.

Le Shuttle car-carrying service said it’s currently operating with an approximate waiting time of 60 minutes in its UK terminal and 30 minutes at its French terminal.

Eurostar passenger trains are running a full service today but with delays of up to 30 minutes due to operational restrictions in the tunnel.

However, Eurostar’s 9054 service from London to Paris, which was due to leave at 20.01 this evening will now leave St Pancras 36 minutes earlier at 19.25. Passengers are asked to checkin by 18.55.

All other passengers are advised to check in as normal, when they will be told their time of departure.
