Experience a touch of New Caledonia’s French charm and sophistication at next week’s PAICE tradeshow in Auckland.
New Caledonia is one of the major exhibitors at the annual Pacific Area Incentives and Conferences Expo (PAICE) show and is keen to attract more New Zealander convention and incentive groups to its shores.
“At a short 2½ hour flight away New Caledonia is actually New Zealand’s closest neighbour and easily accessible. Part of its allure is the stunning beaches and tropical temperatures, as well as French inspired wine, cuisine and shopping,” says Simon Duffy, Tourism New Caledonia New Zealand Manager.”
“For the corporate market the infrastructure is all there with excellent hotels and venues available.
“There’s also plenty to do for the conference market, with windsurfing, tramping, horse riding and white water rafting just a few examples.” “Self drive touring is another popular option and a great way to have a good look around at your own pace, great for pre and post activity choices,” he says.
The New Zealand leisure market recently seized the chance to head to New Caledonia, with a ‘twice the holiday at half the price’ offer selling out in a couple of weeks after hitting the market.
“New Zealanders eagerly took the chance to escape to the sun in New Caledonia over winter and I want to build on this momentum and transfer this enthusiasm across to the C&I market,” Simon says.
PAICE is being held at Eden Park on Tuesday 21 August and features exhibitors from around the Pacific and Asia. The show is open from 10am to 6pm and everyone is welcome.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided and visitors need to register to attend on www.paicexpo.co.nz
