Explore beefs up China cultural product base with ‘HK & China 2008’
Explore Holidays has introduced new Beijing and regional China cultural sightseeing tours and further expanded its overall Hong Kong and Macau product base with the release of ‘Hong Kong & China 2008’.
Building on the Chinese capital’s popularity in the lead up to the 2008 Olympic Games, new Beijing sightseeing programs include an insight into Chinese Opera and traditional acrobatics with both modules priced from $59* per person.
Also new for 2008, a ‘Neighbourhood Committee, Lama Temple’ tour, exploring one of Beijing’s last remaining ‘Hutongs’ and a Lama Temple. Prices start from $68* per person.
On a regional basis, overall sightseeing programs ex-Guangzhou, Guilin and Xian have all been expanded. These include a Li River Cruise ex-Guilin visiting the town of Yangshuo and offering an opportunity to view traditional Cormorant fishing.
Prices start from $213* per person inclusive of lunch and dinner.
New sightseeing ex-Hong Kong includes a Shenzhen Shopping tour priced from $113 per person.
Hong Kong hotel choice has also been widened with the inclusion of two four star properties, the Novotel Nathan Road in Kowloon and The Luxe Manor in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Newly featured five-star hotels in Macau include the Sofitel Macau at Pointe 16 and the Wynn Macau.
A Macau City Tour with lunch is also new. Priced from $52 per person, the itinerary includes many of the city’s key attractions and a visit to a casino.
