Explore Holidays has launched their Explore Austria 2007 programme, introducing two new Austrian city short-stay programs, some Vienna evening cruise options and a new range of Balkans-based product.

The new Austrian product extends Explore Holiday’s already considerable reach into the destination, with the wholesaler firmly committed to promoting Austria in 2007 with the support of the Austrian National Tourist Office (ANTO)

Explore will be joining ANTO and Austrian Airlines in co-hosting next month’s Austrian Tourism Academy in Vienna, taking place from 26-29 November, expected to attract 100 agency managers and consultants, many of whom will also participate in pre and post-event product familiarisation tours.

Pricing for Explore’s two new Austrian short-stay programs start from $246* per person twin share for a three-day ‘Vienna in brief’ program, this package including two nights accommodation with breakfast, an historical Vienna and Schonbrunn Palace tour and a three-day ‘Vienna Card’ offering unlimited use on public transport and discounts at many of the city’s attractions, museums and restaurants.

A  four-hour Original Sound of Music Tour forms the main component of the Sounds of Salzburg program which is priced from $290* per person twin share,  including two nights accommodation with breakfast and a Salzburg travel card.

The two new Vienna-based evening cruises include a Sound of W.A. Mozart onboard dinner/concert program priced from $75* per person.

An alternative Heurigen Cruise with buffet dinner and onboard musical entertainment is priced from $59* per person.

Explore’s new for 2007 Balkans product includes an eight-day/seven-night Balkan Tour encompassing Croatia, priced from $1506* per person twin share and a shorter five-day/four-night ‘Adriatic Highlights’ featuring Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar and Zagreb is priced from $966* per person twin share.

Explore Holidays has also introduced a three-night ‘Discover Dubrovnik’ program and three new regional sightseeing options of varying durations.

The Discover Dubrovnik module is priced from $401* per person twin share inclusive of three-nights accommodation with breakfast, a city tour and an on arrival airport-hotel transfer.

Sightseeing programs start with a four-hour Dubrovnik City Tour, priced from $69* per adult.

The longer 10-hour Spirit of the Adriatic tour and a 12-hour Montenegro Blue itinerary, are priced from $115* per adult and $147* per adult, respectively.

*Conditions apply. Prices are per person twin share based on travel in low season. Seasonal surcharges apply.
