Explore unveils new Jordan and Egypt Tour
Specialist adventure operator Explore announced a new two country escorted tour: Jordan and Egypt – Petra to the Pyramids.
This two-week journey traverses the Sinai Peninsula taking in the Pyramids and Great Sphinx of Giza, as well as ancient Petra.
Instead of flying between sites, the new itinerary includes scenic overland journeys through the Sinai Peninsula and the Red Sea.
There is also as a sea-cat ferry from Jordan to Egypt.
Guests will visit the souks of Ammam, and the Roman archaeological sites of Jerash.
There is opportunity to float in the Dead Sea, go snokelling and sleep under canvas in a Bedouin-style camp.
The Egypt and Jordan tour takes in Mount Sinai and St. Catherine’s Monastery, as well as bustling Cairo.
Also including is a sleeper train to Luxor.
This 14-night trip costs £2,995 per person (excluding flights).
